If elected, my focus will be clear:
Grow the economy. Raise education standards. Tackle the housing crisis. Make government live within its means.
We’ve got four years to make a real difference. There’s no room for pet projects, policy padding or costly distractions. Young people — like my son — can’t afford to come home and build a life here. I’ve changed my own career because I believe real change can only come from the inside.
My priority is to grow our economy so we can fund what Guernsey needs — without digging deeper into your pockets.
No distractions. No drift. No vanity projects.
No virtue signalling. Just four years of focused delivery.
Manifesto
REAL PROGRESS. REAL CHANGE. FOR GUERNSEY.
Who Am I?
- A “roll your sleeves up” person, I get the job done.
- During my 20+ year career I have helped troubled businesses course-correct, establishing clear plans and delivering them
- Senior finance professional and qualified barrister; achieved as a single mum to my boy
How I Will Work
No candidate can promise to fix everything. What I can promise is to work hard, stay honest and push for better decisions.
- Protect your pocket
- Demand better planning
- Champion efficiency
- Hold government accountable
- Promote collaboration
I WILL ACTIVELY PRIORITISE POLICIES THAT FOCUS ON EVERYONE
1. A THRIVING ECONOMY
A stagnating economy and too much talk about tax, not growth, means that real action is needed in this next term:
- Embrace technology: plan now for AI, better energy infrastructure and true digital capacity.
- Reclaim our entrepreneurial spirit: create a clear message that Guernsey is open for business.
- Embrace our finance industry: we must be a final destination for business again—not a last resort
- Regulate, don’t dominate: actively rebalance in favour of growth and commercial innovation
- Manage government spend: drive a commercial mindset and smarter financial planning
2. A WORLD-CLASS EDUCATION
Excellence must be something we deliver—not just promise.
- Stop the political squabbling: focus on student outcomes, not buildings.
- Cut the bureaucracy: give schools real autonomy and focus more budget at the coalface and away from the education department’s control.
- Look outward: adopt the best of local and global education models.
- Connect education to careers: build pathways into real jobs through industry-led collaborations.
- Restore pride in staying: Guernsey should be seen as a first choice, not a fallback.
3. HOMES THAT WORK FOR EVERYONE
PURSUE TOO MUCH, AND PROGRESS GETS LOST
Guernsey needs politicians who can:-
- prioritise the big things over the next four years; and
- cut distraction and kick "nice to haves" down the road
KICK THE CAN – AND PROUD OF IT
In Guernsey politics, “kicking the can down the road” is usually considered an insult. But maybe it’s time we reframe it.
And if other things do come to the fore? I won’t shirk my duty. I’ll do the work, be an ally to diverse voices and vote with integrity every time.
