Polling station volunteers needed for General Election
The 2025 General Election team is looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to assist at polling stations. Volunteers will play a vital role by providing general assistance to voters under the guidance of Polling Station Officers.
The 2025 General Election will take place on Wednesday 18th June, with two advance polling days on Sunday 15th and Tuesday 17th June.
Polling station shifts are two hours long and available from 7.30am to 8.30pm each day. Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of four hours (two shifts), which need not be consecutive or on the same day, as there is flexibility in this respect.
No experience is required as a briefing session will be provided.
There are opportunities to help at a variety of polling stations across the island, including:
- Beau Sejour
- Styx Community Centre
- Les Maingy Activity Centre
- St Sampson’s Community Centre
- St Peter Port Constables’ Office
- Castel Douzaine Room
Requirements:
